The Critical Advantage: Working with Licensed Real Estate Brokers in Dubai
Navigating Dubai’s dynamic real estate market requires expertise that only comes from professionals who are familiar with the unique regulations and rapid developments. Working with a real estate agent who holds an official broker’s card issued by the Dubai Land Department (abbreviated as DLD, the local land agency) ensures that you are dealing with someone who meets strict licensing requirements and adheres to strict professional standards. These licensed professionals have demonstrated through mandatory training and exams that they are familiar with local real estate laws, market conditions and ethical practices, which are necessary to obtain their credentials and
Dubai's Highrise Revolution: Redefining Luxury Living in the Desert
Dubai's skyscrapers are a testament to human ambition and architectural ingenuity, with a forest of gleaming skyscrapers rising dramatically from the desert floor. The emirate's high-rise real estate market has transformed dramatically over the past two decades, transforming from a modest cluster of buildings into one of the world's most recognisable cityscapes. What makes Dubai's vertical development particularly remarkable is not just its size, but the breathtaking speed with which these massive structures have materialised from the once barren sands. The iconic Burj Khalifa, which at an impressive 828 metres remains the tallest building in the world and symbolises Dubai's unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of construction and design
Villas
Both high-rise and low-rise buildings are popular, and it can be said that the individual life situation of the buyer determines which one to choose. It is therefore worth examining the features offered by each type of living space before choosing a home. Low-rise buildings are often located in a community, thus offering a wide range of services to prospective owners. It is obvious that a villa with a closed garden provides an appropriate level of privacy for both the owner and the potential tenant. In larger villas, several generations can live together without disturbing each other's daily lives, but they can also come together for meals. A garden or roof terrace does not limit the
The country, where the keyword is "vision"
The country was founded in 1971, which means that now, in 2024, it is just 55 years old. What is it that the country's leaders had in mind from the start? A vision. Because they dared, and still dare, to dream big, and the greatest thing is that dreams and plans are realised without question. A lit motorway? - Got it. Louvre in the Emirates? - Done. Palm-shaped island? - Say the next one. Ski slope in a shopping mall? - With a lift, of course. The fastest roller coaster in the world? Good idea. The practice is this: world-class experts are invited to a country, and they design and then implement anything that is at least like anything anywhere in the world, but in many cases has the ambition to be even better, higher, more interesting.
Dubai Real Estate Market in the first half of 2024
Dubai's real estate market has achieved absolute record growth in the first half of 2024, despite supply constraints. Here are the latest figures, which are dry statistics but speak for themselves. It is important to add that the market figures are not based on the marketing ploys of developers, but on figures recorded and closely monitored in the Emirates Real Estate Land Registry. - GDP growth is expected to reach 3.8% by 2024, which is minimally below the 3.9% growth forecast, - the rental market experienced brutal growth in the 2nd quarter of 2024, with the number of rentals recorded increasing by 38.4% year-on-year to 41,495 rented properties,
Unusual tips for Dubai Vol.2.
As we wrote in our Unusual Tips for Dubai Vol1 article, Dubai's attractions are listed in many guidebooks and websites. Even a novice tourist can tell you by heart what the next famous places to visit are after the Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab. As we both have many years of experience of living in the Emirates, we thought you might find it useful to share our favourite places with you. So we're not writing about the big-name attractions in this series, but the places dear to our hearts. So for the second part of our series, let's take a look at a beautiful beach and a restaurant there.
